| Mauser Model 98K F1. This rare mauser was converted to .30-06 (7.62x63 mm) by Norway for military use. The receiver has a flat spot milled on the side and a new serial number was added above the original German numbers. This rifle is marked HAER (Army). The receiver band is marked 42 1939. Norwegian numbers (buttplate, bolt, receiver) all match. German numbers match except for site elevator leaf and cocking piece. All Waffenamt and Nazi proof markings are intact. The rifle is equipped with a front site hood. Cleaning rod is missing. Laminate stock is in good condition with moderate wear and slight surface checking. Bluing is good with some fading around the muzzle, bolt handle, top of the receiver, and floorplate. Bore is excellent.
